Guardian Nurses celebrated its 15th year of improving patient outcomes and lowering healthcare costs with an anniversary party on November 10 in Philadelphia. For the 250 guests, it was a rollicking good time: a blue-and-orange signature cocktail, multiple food stations, dancing to the spectacular cover band Patrice and The Show, a 15th Anniversary video that elicited spontaneous cheers from the crowd, and a song-and-dance routine by the nurses that culminated in a salute to Founder and CEO Betty Long, whose 60th birthday coincided with the anniversary. Guardian Nurses has grown from 3 nurses to 35, and now serves hundreds of thousands of members in union health and welfare funds in Greater Philadelphia and New York.
