Guardian Nurses president and founder Betty Long was a featured guest on WHYY’s “Radio Times” program February 27, discussing ways to make medical and health care prices more transparent with host Marty Moss-Coane and Jeanne Pinder, founder and CEO of clearhealthcosts.com.
WHYY and clearhealthcosts.com are collaborating on a new project aimed at making medical prices in the region more transparent, and Betty was invited to offer expertise on how hospital prices are determined and why it’s important to be a savvy health consumer.
In addition to its WHYY broadcast, Moss-Coane’s show also is heard nationally on the Sirius/XM channel 122, “NPR Now,” weeknights from 9 to 11 p.m. ET.
